weather light showers in morning fine afternoon
We had a leisurely breakfast before setting off for Mareeba going via Eacham Lake where we went for a 3K walk around the Lake.Very interesting walk lots of plants and wild life bush Turkeys and a little black furry thing which we think was a Musky Rat Kangaroo.
Another very large fig tree called Curtain Fig Tree at Yungaburra also a good view of platypus (at last!)
Called in at Coffee Works stocked up on Chocolate and Coffee.
Then up to Mareeba to get some Vanilla Bean Ochids from a lady Ted was talking to at the Yungaburra markets only cutting so hope they survive the trip home.. lunch at Atherton.
