DAY 1
16th MARCH 2023

We fly from Brisbane to Adelaide today, arrived about midday collected hire car, a Camry hybrid very quiet running car, and made our way to Watervale and Watervale Retreat where we are staying for the next 5 nights. Accommodation is very nice bush setting lots of birds but is very dry at the moment.

DAY 2
17th March
weather cool in morning hot afternoon fine
Awoke early this morning and had fresh bread delivered for breakfast (warm) with jams and butter cereal and fruit supplied.
We had a drive to Port Wakefield passing through Clare Snowtown and Lochial and on way back through Balaklava.
On the surrounding hills near Snowtown there where wind farms. tin the town it self was some water tower art. Near Balaklava there was a solar farm.
We are going to visit Burra tomorrow.

Burra was a copper mining town. We also visited Farrell Flat.

We visited the Seven Hills winery run by priests. We had lunch at the Seven Hills Pub.
DAY 6
21st March 2023

We traveled to B&B at Sterling seeing some silo art at Eudunda and Maggie Beer's and the ruins of Sir Sydney Kidman at Kupunda. some art work in Kupunda.
The B&B is lovely with a lovely bush garden and very comfortable accomadation.

We visited Mount Lofty Botanical gardens. Had lunch at Huhndorf Hotel.
