weather fine and hot
We travelled from Townsville today stopping at Bowen for coffee break, very dry looked like it has seen more prosperous days very wide streets two lanes of traffic both ways. Not many people about. Salt mine as we came into Bowen industrial use salt. The lady in the Information Centre said the farmers where going to loose half their harvest this year due to them unable to get the back packer workers due to coronavirus.
Tropical Eco Resort Caravan Park is half way between Airlie Beach and Shute Harbour. A lovely park.
