Went for a tour this morning of The Old Hospital which was open until 1976. Thargomindah has only flying doctor service now. We also saw the Hydro power station 1898 was the first hydro electric power station in Australia (from artesian basin water) Provided enough electricity to light the town street lights.
Went for another walk along the Balloo River this afternoon.
