Orkney is a very beautiful Island really needed 2 days to have a good look around. We saw Skara Brae an Ion Age Villiage (with a bunch of primary school children).
We also went through Skaill House which was the house of The Laird of Skaill. Also there were a ring of stones similar to Stone Henge. Standing Stones of Stenness.
John O'Groats got it's name from Jon de Groot who operated a ferry to Orkney in the early days and a groat was what he called the small silver coin he charged.
