Woke up to a beautiful day today we are off to Whitby this morning. Stopped off at Whitby there is a lovely little swing bridge which was made l906 we crossed it to go to the Captain Cook Museum, which is where Captain Cook stayed while doing his apprenticeship. There was a steam train at the Railway Station.

We went on to Newcastle Upon Tyne where we spent a very warm night. We saw the Transporter Bridge at Middlesbrough, we were all set to go on it but was closed...
