We arrived at Burleigh Heads about 1.30pm went to the Surf Club for coffee while waiting for our room to be ready. We were sitting there having coffee looking out over the ocean and there it was.... a whale breaching on it's way out to sea. After coffee we went for a walk along the water front, very nice but a lot busier then I remember, but then it has been some time since since I was last here and it is also school holidays.
Our room here at Mariner Shores is very nice a personal deck opening onto the pool area. Just recently been refurbished, lovely big bathroom.
